
“Food For Love” Benefit To Include David Byrne, Jackson Browne & More
David Byrne and Jackson Browne are among the artists set to perform on the “Food For Love” benefit livestream, raising money to help feed the hungry in New Mexico. The event, which also features The Chicks, Kurt Vile and more, will stream February 13th via the Food for Love website and on YouTube.
Organizers promise that 100% of the proceeds will go towards New Mexico’s Association of Food Banks.

A 16-year-old Ohio boy with dreams of becoming an oncologist is already working to save lives from cancer. Chase Sloan wrote a cookbook called “Cakes for Cancer” and donates 75% of the total proceeds to St. Jude and the American Association for Cancer Research. An Oklahoma neighborhood showed an eight-year-old girl who was expelled from school that she is still welcome with them. Delanie Shelton says her daughter Chloe was kicked out of Rejoice Christian School after telling a female friend that she has a crush on her.
