Last spring, Morgan Marsh McGlone started a virtual lemonade stand to raise money for a local food charity. The eight-year-old from Wisconsin not only brought in $53-thousand for her cause, she caught the attention of Biden’s inaugural team. They invited her to give a virtual speech last night in a program called “Celebrating America” hosted by Tom Hanks! Source: CBS News

Billionaire Elon Musk is donating $5-million through his foundation to two Boston researchers who helped create a vaccine and a diagnostic tool for COVID. The head of Tesla and SpaceX is giving the funds to Dr. Dan Barouch, who helped develop a vaccine with Johnson & Johnson. The other researcher getting the donation is Dr. Galit Alter, a professor of medicine at the Ragon Institute who collaborated on the research with Barouch. Source: The Boston Globe
