A New Jersey man who got laid off during the pandemic turned his down time into a way to help those in need. Brian Schwartz started the company called I Want To Mow Your Lawn, which provides lawn services to senior citizens, veterans, disabled and underprivileged people for free. His nonprofit has expanded and now operates in eight states. Source: ABC 7 NY


A group of middle and high school siblings and friends hosted a carnival-themed event to raise money for their local Make-A-Wish chapter in Fresno, California. Brothers Kyle and Ryan Kashian and Charley and Mikey Bell are raising money for a four-year-old boy with Leukemia who made a wish for a playground in his backyard. The four teens are hoping to raise $10-thousand to make the boy’s wish come true. Source: ABC 30

A mom in Canada wanted to find the perfect puppy for her two-year-old, one that has limb differences just like her daughter’s. Vanessa McLeod found a puppy missing a front paw for her little girl who was born with no hands. They’ve named the puppy Lucky and she hopes the two have a “magical bond.” Source: CTV News
